.....well it hardly sounds like a done deal...but, despite having much US marque value, Froch-Taylor would be a very good fight for the WBC title. Froch fights in a kind of brendan ingle fighter way, despite not being from that camp......he's quick, powerful and awkward....but has very little defence.....thus far he has shown a good chin. I fancy Taylor to win, on technical skills....mainly the jab and quicker hands.....but Froch will give plenty of probs and wont make Taylor look too good
I think you guys are forgetting one important point in this fight - Froch is crap. Taylor is a much better and more experienced fighter. Froch hits a bit harder, that's the only advantage he has.
I think the KO might have had some effect, but I don't think he ruined Taylor, he didn't recieve a brutal beating like Miranda did.

From what Ive seen of Froch he keeps his left hand low, and is pretty crude in his attack. If Taylor fights under control as he did in the Pav rematch, he should win. Froch can punch, but I highly doubt he hits as hard as Kelly. Froch says after he KO's Taylor, he'll KO Pavlik.:laughing: Now that would outta the question. Pavlik would waste him. So would Abraham for that matter.
Why do u dislike him so much?? I thought he came across as a very nice guy in the post fight interview... :dunno:
I don't HATE him, and I don't want to seem like I do. I guess I just don't really like his style of fighting much, I just don't find him at all enjoyable to watch, none of his fights have been particularly exciting. I don't like the whole smurf crap either. I like absurdity, but the smurf thing is just naff. He is a good fighter though, and although I'd pick Pavlik, smurf would give him a tough fight.
Froch's offence will give Taylor problems but Taylor is too technically sound, and has more than good enough handspeed to catch Froch reguarly. Froch is undefeated, but he hasn't breazed through every fight to this point....Adamu, Porras and Magee exposed Froch's lack of defence often enough to suggest Taylor will have a lot of success.
And Robin Reid HURT him, had him backing up like a bitch, Froch's got about as much potential as Tye Fields.
