Why you laughing? You know Kessler would be money in the bank for Jermain. MONEY IN THE BANK!

But nah I was jk, Kessler would give Jermain an ass whuppin.

I woulda said Calzaghe vs Taylor, but Joe would be in jail for assault.

Man I'm loving that Taylor has been exposed!

Kessler easily. Better fighter. Hits harder and is faster than Pavlik. The only money in the bank I see is the money I make from betting big on Kessler should this fight take place.

who cares. i wanna see Pavlik take those guys on. Taylor is just a boring azz fighter - it's as simple as that. nevermind if he's any good or not, he's probably the last fighter i'd wanna see fight anyone.

Jermaine's defense is too leaky for him to survive Kessler and he wouldn't be able to hurt or discourage him. Total uphill battle for Jermaine.

    Like I said before...

Jermaine HAS to rematch Pavlik and hope he wins so that he can regain some confidence or his career goes down the shitter...

Taylor is going to have to fight top guys at 168 if he ever wants to be taken seriously again. I think a Kessler fight would be a good scrap and I give Jermain a very good chance at winning the fight. I don't know what everyone sees in Kessler but he doesn't do anything great, he's just a solid fighter. Jermain is way quicker and moves much better than Kessler. I could see Taylor outboxing Kessler.

those were definitely the fights i was thinking about when i said he was boring. so you might be right.

what i'm still unsure about is Taylor's chin. i know he absorbed some solid shots from pavlik without going down, but if you think back to all of his toughest fights, he's always responded to getting hit by going into a shell on the ropes. he did it against hopkins - he did it against wright - and he did it against pavlik.

it's possible that he was able to camoflauge the degree to which he was hurt by laying on the ropes and covering up. and if that's the case, then it is no longer accurate to say that he has a dependable chin.

also, you can't ignore the seemingly non-sensical opponents that his camp has put in front of him - chosen without a doubt with no consideration other than for their lack of punching power - Spinks, Ouma, etc.

even in the face of harsh criticism, and spoiling styles that would undoubtedly make him look bad, the decision was made to match him with guys like Spinks and Ouma. there's no doubt the dominating criteria in these instances was their lack of punching power.
