Adamek's Trainer: "I Want Tomasz To Fight David Haye" By Mark Vester The trainer of Tomasz Adamek, Ronnie Shields, wants his fighter to get a shot at WBA heavyweight champion David Haye. Shields is confident in his fighter's abilities after applying a perfect gameplan to win a twelve round decision over the much larger Chris Arreola last month in California. Haye is currently in talks for a shot at WBO/IBO/IBF heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko. If those talks fall apart, HBO has already expressed their interest in Haye-Adamek. "If there is anyone out there that I want to see Tomasz fight right now, it would be David Haye. They are about the same size and I think that would be the best fight for him right now," Shields told BoxingScene.com's official radio show, Leave It In The Ring [debuts next week]. Shields has never watched Haye fight. He plans to study some tapes of the British fighter. "To tell you the truth, I have never seen David Haye fight. I have to go and study tapes, just to see what he does. I've never seen him before so it's hard for me to answer that question right now [on strategy]. When I get the videotape, you have to break him down and put a gameplan together."
I hope Adamek gets to fight Haye before Wlad does. Adamek can beat Haye. Beating Wlad would be much harder.
So Shields thinks Haye is the best option for Adamek, just because 'they are about the same size'. :dunno: Top of my wishlist is Haye vs Wlad. But this would probably be second to that..... I think it'd be an exciting fight...Haye's been too quick for the heavyweights thus far, vs Adamek, where the advantage won't be so profound, he'll have to prove his ability as a boxer. Haye and the Klitschkos are, persumably, still negotiating....this presents Haye another option, which means that if the Klitschkos don't offer him something serious, he can walk away from the table, fight and beat Adamek, hopefully on HBO, and return to the negotiating table as an even bigger commodity.
Well,.. I don't agree with the assumption that Haye is the third best heavyweight, I'd have to see it to believe it, no way I could safely assume he is. However, lest we forget his words, and the legion of fans he has that have knighted him the 'heavyweight saviour' and all the shit he's relentlessly spewed about the Klitschko's, in particular, being first in the headlines whenever they win, to put as much shit on thier victories as possible. It's way overdue he backs it the fuck up,.. he's got a paper title that belongs to Wlad already,.. but you'll notice Haye groupies are advocating that Wlad has to treat him preciously on the negotiation table or Haye has more than enough right to bitch the fuck out of it again,.. even though Wlad really has 3 belts, 3,.. is the bigger draw and universally recognised as number 1,.. but groupies advocate "he should atleast get 50 - 50!!!" ... he's fucken nuthin' but a press release bitch,..who's made his name the same way Edison Miranda did, he's no way an equal on the negotiation table.
They will fight each other but only after you mr.Joe King go find your brother, sister or whoever else you love and punch them in the face as hard as you can and then keep punching more till they start bleeding and then keep punching more till they start drooling. Show them how it's done Mr.Goody two shoes Christian
Brothers fight all of the time for no money.Keep talking, your original alias will be shown soon. :cheer:
Aside from PBF/Pacquiao, Vitaly/Wlad is the biggest fight that could be made in boxing. Brothers fight each other all of the time for free. It's a sport where they would be paid millions. I'd watch it even if they used headgear.
surely this would be a huge fight in England...full of poles and poms there must be more money in this fight than Wlad-Haye?
Klitschko's Manager: David Haye Gets Deadline To Agree By Ruslan Chikov The boxing manager of the Klitschko brothers, Bernd Boente, is still not convinced that WBA heavyweight champion David Haye of England will accept the challenge of a unification with Wladimir Klitschko this fall. If Haye walks away, Boente will begin immediate negotiations with Wladimir's IBF mandatory Alexander Povetkin. "We are negotiating with Haye's manager Adam Booth, but it's difficult to say right no now if we have anything concrete because it seems to me the Englishman is simply afraid to fight. David already had an opportunity to fight against the brothers twice," Boente told blik . "Both times he was looking for excuses to abandon the fight . We need to agree by next Sunday, May 16. Wladimir wants this fight. But if Haye is not ready for it, or, simply speaking, is afraid, we shall return to negotiations with Alexander Povetkin, and Haye can go fight his countryman Audley Harrison." Boente is not concerned with the location. He wants Haye to agree. "The real important questions is whether or not there will be a fight in general. Although it is more important than another question, will he ever fight. Whether Haye is afraid to step in the ring against a Klitschko and whether he can overcome this fear," Boente said. ----------------------------------------------------- UH OH,....
