Bobby Pacquiao is the luckiest mofo in the world. Gets on TV by his brothers name and when he gets bloodied and beaten by Trejo, he breaks Trejo´s arm with one of his inaccurate punches. :: :: ::
Was getting ready to comment on this fight. Pac Lite was arguably losing every round, then throws a left at Trejo's right forearm, triggering the injury, and walks away with a KO victory. Strange ending.
Baldomir and Luciano Perez in the televised main event. Not a great 1st round for the world's highest paid featherduster slinger, who looks kinda fleshy despite the fight being at welterweight.
God, this is terrible. To be expected, though, of a card featuring 4 fighters with a combined 45 or so losses between them.
dammit, Perez was something like a 20-1 underdog in this fight, but I resisted. I instead went for what I thought was generous odds on the over (+165 on over 9.5).
Jesus, David Denkin (referee, son of fellow ref Marty Denkin) looks like he swallowed his father whole.
Baldy frustrated, landing his best punch of the fight (chopping right hand) 2-3 seconds AFTER the bell ::
4-2 sounds about right.... damn, the Telefutura crew has it even, giving Baldy the last two. I can see the 5th maybe, but not that last round, no way.
Yep, the great Luciano Perez is four rounds away from matching Floyd's most significant win in five years ::
Not sure if Sycuan has any ties with this card, or if Top Rank now has paper on Baldomir (though why, I have no idea). If so, I can see him somehow escaping with a decision
I agree with Jake. That is the fattest, most obese referee I think I have ever seen, I hope he dosen't die in there tonight. Baldomir looks terrible, he blew another round.
:: ... probably not something we should laugh at, but dammit if ol' boy doesn't look like he's ready to float.
7-3 Perez to 6-4 Baldomir, If Perez doesn´t win, he has nobody but himself to blame, an out of shape Baldomir, who appeared to hurt his right hand in the 8th and he still couldn´t take advantage in the final two rounds.
