It was funny........most times I don't know where Chappelle is going with a story/joke but then in the last few sentences he put it all together into a hilarious little package...

Of course a few Trans faketwats on twitter have to try and cancel him......Dave doesn't give a fuck because twitter is not a real place.......100 5'6 fat guys who consider themselves women are not real...fuk 'em...

I felt it was his weakest special out of the last 4, but still funny.

It was far from Dave's best stand-up, but even mediocre Chappelle is better than best of 98% of comedians.

And yeah, I do think at this point Chappelle's body of work has earned him the status of stand-up comedy GOAT. He's surpassed Pryor and Carlin, though imo for raw comedic genius, Pryor remains the best I've ever seen.

Yeah his last few stand ups haven’t been funny like ha ha just more interesting and entertaining. I tried listening to his podcast but that shit was wack. To be fair it was mostly just him and some friends interviewing people. I enjoyed the stand up but to be honest I went in expecting that I wasn’t going to find it very funny. Dave is more introspective these days than he is funny. To be honest a few of his actual jokes were kind of low bar and cringe to a certain extent.

I might be in the minority, but imo Killin Em Softly remains Chappelle's funniest stand-up.

That was the second best stand-up of the last 25 years imo. The only one better was Bring the Pain by Chris Rock.

Honestly, Bring the Pain is probably THE greatest stand-up of all time. Rock was truly second-to-none in that one.

Chappelle is the GOAT due to consistency and longevity. He's just been so funny for so long.

For pure peak... I dont think any of Dave's individual stand-ups have been as good as Pryor in Live on the Sunset Strip or Rock in Bring the Pain. Those are masterpieces.

Dave doesn't have a true masterpiece.

I agree. I think his first three (1998-2004) are much better than his last few (2017-2021).

Someone wrote a tweet that kills Chappelle’s whole perspective. This is the tweet nearly verbatim:

“Dave Chappelle left 50 million dollars on the table, left his whole family behind and hid out in Africa because a white man laughed to hard at a N-word joke that he told with the express purpose of people laughing at it. I will not believe he doesn’t understand the issues with his specials.”

    Bars.

The mental illness that transgender people have and the power they wield is the issue, not Dave's jokes.

Someone has to call these disturbed fucks out.
