The Dead...

Wow, that was a very depressing zombie movie. It was very good, but man, that was dispiriting. Still, zombies in Africa and two men travelling 100s of kms across the African wilderness to try and find the one man's son while the other man just hopes to make it home to his wife and daughter.

does any zombie movie have slower zombies than this one?

 

This is how zombies are supposed to be. The fast ones originated in 28 Days Later which weren't actually zombies but rage-infected people. But some film makers decided to use fast moving zombies after that.

 

i dunno, the ones in this movie seemed much more chilled out than other movies

but it was alright...they just break you down over time cos you get tired of walking away from them for so long

 

I thought it was boring....

 

But they can still make for a good movie...Original Romero movies....Land Of The Dead..etc...

 

It works on The Walking Dead...though they are a bit faster than the original Romero zombie. :ant:I missed most of 2nd season...but I don't think they run...maybe once in a while one of them jogs..I'm not sure I doubt it.


Anyway slow zombies can still work today....movie just has to be good like the original Dawn Of The Dead.

 

in this movie they tire you out cos there's so many of them and eventually you get tired and have to go to sleep :34:

You're talking about an ARMY of slow moving zombies coming from ALL DIRECTIONS. You're not going to escape anywhere because the zombies are lurking everywhere and anywhere you can imagine.
And The Walking Dead is the greatest show on tv. There is no escape from the zombies no matter where the people go.

 

So you gonna live in the f*cking water, godfather? :: You're gonna have to get out of the water sooner or later.

 

The f*ck are you blabbering about godfather???:laughing: There is NO open space anywhere!!! The zombies will close your space because they are coming by the hundreds. It's only a matter of time. You will run out of food and gas, you will have to find a way to survive and that means you have no choice but to deal with the zombies and they're growing in numbers.
There is NO escape!

 

They are when there are thousands coming after you from all directions with the intent of ripping out and feasting on your intestines.

 

But WHERE are you going to walk????? That's the question! Because wherever you plan on going, the zombies are already there waiting for you. So where are you going to walk???
And how long do you think you can walk for? 10 miles? 20 miles? 30 miles? You're going to need food and water. You're going to need gas. You're going to need a place to sleep and survive. The zombies are everywhere, having overrun just about every establishment you can think of.

 

You're f*cked in the head and living in some stupid sh*t reality, godfather. What the f*ck are you gonna do with 1 zombie??? Try that sh*t with a hundred zombies!!! It will only take 2-3 to pile up on you and eat your asshole alive!
You don't have anywhere near the stamina to go through several zombies. You don't have the strength or ability to take them all on as they're closing your space. You'll be zombie food within minutes.

 

And for how long are you going to survive near the water? How much food and ammunition can you carry with you? And how long before you run out?

Tony Todd can't even stop 1 dead-weight zombie from breaking through the door. Now imagine 10-20 or 100 of these f*ckers coming at you in different directions or straight forward. You gonna chop the heads off each one like the motherf*cking blind swordsman?

Well, like I said, it was a decent movie because it's not just the zombies but also the harsh climate the guys had to make it through. I also watched Red and The Losers---both of which were decent but not special.

 

You gotta sleep sometime.

 

What do you mean by everyone? You're by yourself like in the movie The Dead. And where are you located? In the wild like in the movie. That also means you have to deal with wildlife in Africa including lions and other predators. You will need a vehicle. You will need gas. And you'll need food and water.
You decide to head to the water if you can find it. You may find a stream. The zombies will overlook the water as they will be coming after you. Basically you're f*cked one way or another. You may survive for a short while but you'll be killed eventually as the blazing hot sun seeps you of your stamina and your lowering food ration and low amount of liquid will start to have its effects. Maybe the stream can provide some nourishment but again, it's only a matter of time. You can't live your life next to the water while slapping the sh*t out of zombies. Oh wait, maybe YOU can. I doubt anybody else in the world can. LOL

 

Explain your reasoning. Don't go making a statement without some logic and reasoning.
