I can see the debate in a few months...

Father of Muzse: Hatton has a short reach, which will allow Mayweather to comfortably outbox him from the outside.

Slystaff: Hatton's arms are too short to box with God!!

Muzse, you are more a Mosley fan than I am a Mayweather fan. "God"? Come on, you know better than that. :nono:

This is one of the most REEDiculous things you've ever said.

I doubt many if any on the board would agree with this.

They don't have to agree to make it any less true.

I appreciate Floyd's talents and seeing as he is still undefeated and has won titles in five weight classes, the accolades I send in his direction are justified.

Mosley loses twice to Forrest, Twice to Wright, arguably loses the De La Hoya rematch...and you still speak of him as though he's invincible.

    That's BLIND fanaticism.

Nah, if Mosley was replaced with RJJ, I might have to say ok...but Mosley wouldn't get the nod on that one. :dunno:

    Musze,

It's "cool" to be a fan of Sugar Shane, because he's an all action fighter in the ring and very likable outside the ring. So Shane FANDOM goes unnoticed.

However Floyd is deemed an arrogant ass outside teh ring, and there's the MYTH that he's a boring fighter inside the ring...because he wins certain fights too easily. Because of this...a floyd fan is less acceptable and therefore more obvious.

Nevertheless, I maintain that you are more of a Mosley FANATIC than I am a Floyd FANATIC because at least I back a WINNER!! :tease:

People have short memories. The Baldomir fight was his first real dull fight in 3-4 years. The rest were OK to entertaining.

But his conservative approach in his last couple fights is a cause for concern, IMO.

No, that makes you a front-runner.

I don't know if there is a bigger fan on this board of a fighter than you are of Floyd, except maybe Gerald Tucker of himself.

Roy is Muze's main guy but I see Sly's point: Muze is a somewhat closeted Mosley fan. Reading between the lines of many posts Muze obviously thinks rather highly of Mosley and frankly some people, present company included, do not and never have thought much of Mosley.

    Lets get it on!:cheer:

I love the qoute from Floyd. "I'm in the business of blood, sweat, and tears."

Not sure where the blood and sweat come from, but we all watched the tears flow!

I hope Ricky trains on cutting off the ring:popcorn:

    Like I said:

Floyd is unpopular, so a fan of his is more annoying to the masses and therefore more noted.

BUT...I can think of a couple of "bigger fans" right off the bat:

Phonetap of Sugar Shane - the dude cries whenever Shane is criticized and IMMEDIATELY gets high blood pressure.

Double L of Castillo, Margarito and De La Hoya

There are more if i think about it.

The fact that Sly immediately got sensitive over an innocent comment about his high regard of Floyd exposes him as the winner.

The "onliest" person who could give you a serious run at the title of Top Floyd Lover would be Neil. I'd have to give Neil the edge though. He made it to the 2nd round of the "Pick Up Floyd's Money" interview stage. You didn't make it past the first round of the Canadian auditions for the job.

It's Because Floyd HASN'T Been Allowed to Wear the "Winning" Gloves N his Bouts...vs Baldomir AND DeLa...

"Winning" Gloves R the Only Brand that PROTECTS Floyd's Hands Enough to Allow him to B Offensive THROUGHOUT a Fight...

Why do you guys mistake my immediate responses for "sensitivity"? I'M NOT FUCKING SENSITIVE, GOT THAT!!!

    In all seriousness...

I only responded because everyone tries to pretend that they are so objective when it comes to fighters, trying to single a few of us out as "nutriders" etc...when the fact of the matter is EVERYONE is a fan of some fighter to the same degree that I am a fan of FLoyd...yourself included, Father of Mosley. :tease:

Come on man, you really think with Winning gloves Floyd would have opened up and taken chances against oscar, and risk getting cracked unaware with the left hook?

Floyd DID get "cracked unaware with the left hook" AFTER THE BELL at the end of the 4th round with Oscar.

He took it like a champion!

Probably Not DeLa,but Most Definitely Baldomir...

N the EARLYGOING vs Baldomir,Floyd was Very Offensive...Then by the 3rd Round or So,he Started MOVING More than Punching...

w/Out Question Floyd Performs BETTER w/"Winning" Gloves...Manny Steward has Referred to them as "Pillows" Cause of how Much they CUSHION the Hands...

I openly admit that I'm a devout member of the Roy Jones fan club. Lest we not forget, I temporarily revived Planet Roy prior to his last fight...

With that said, I can firmly state that I've been a long-time fan of Mosley "however" the level of dedication to Mosley isn't anywhere NEAR that of Roy.

Adding more to the fire, your constant hate and one-sided commentary about Mosley throughout the years serves as further evidence that any positive commentary about the guy causes an immediate and swift NEGATIVE response.

I hate Floyd as much as the next guy (in some cases more than the next guy) but I'll at least be open minded enough to state when he can and can't win a fight.

In your eyes, Mosley can't beat anybody and Floyd can beat everybody.

That just be how it be Sly.

You are a hilarious fella I must confess.

I don't "hate" Shane. I just think that he tends to be overrated. But we've gone through this a million times....

Anyway....I'm the PRESIDENT of the Roy Jones fan club, REED and yourself are merely my VPs of Sales and Marketing and Operations respectively.

N All Honesty,it Probably Would've Been N Hatton's BEST INTEREST to Face Junior Witter or Somebody w/a Small Resemblance to Floyd Mayweather(Stylistically) 1st...

REED Expects Floyd to Win by a WIDE UD or a Late Stoppage...& the NAYSAYERS will Say that Hatton was "Tooooo Small" or that he was "Past his Prime" ...

Either Way,Floyd will Win IMPRESSIVELY,yet the Naysayers Still WON'T Give him ANY Credit...

I'm more nervous about this Hatton fight than I would have been if Floyd had fought Cotto or Margarito.

Hatton is a speedy, whirlwind buzzsaw that never stops coming. It's not an easy fight for Floyd, even though Mayweather should win clearly (8 rounds to 4).

I wouldn't be that worried. Hatton doesn't hit hard enough to stop Floyd with one shot.

    "However"

If this were Mayweather-Cotto...I'd be concerned if I were you.

In fact, due to sheer size (not skill), I'd have difficultly picking Floyd over Cintron.
