Nonito Donaire has already started training for a possible showdown with Fernando Montiel at 115. Apparently Donaire is having a hard time making 112 now, and is going to make the jump. Arum hasn't gotten the contracts signed but it's the fight that he is pursuing with the winner to face the Darchinyan - Arce winner.

    So we have:

    Arce - Darchinyan
    Donaire - Montiel

How do you guys think it will play out?

I'm going to say that Darchinyan beats Arce, and Donaire (surprisingly to most) beats Montiel setting up Donaire-Darchinyan II which Donaire will win by late stoppage.

Neither Donaire or Montiel have looked good for a while now. That fight doesn't interest me.

Well they are both very inconsistent, so I´d say it is 50/50. Neither looked particularly good in their last fight.

Darchinyan beats arce, montiel beats donaire, montiel vs darchinyan close to call - I say darchinyan by decision

    Is that a death threat?

Looks for excuse for potential loss this week.

He has, but there has to be a certain build up to that fight. I think Bob Arum is going about this the right way with a pseudo-elimination tournament with the two winners meeting for a big payday.
