...but first I have to set the overhead press record that I wanted. Initially I was going to set records in all my lifts just to show that I'm at my all time greatest strength. I can still do that, but is it egotism more than goal orientation?

I'm thinking about it a bit differently because I have a baby on the way and I want to be able to do all the things that I should be able to do like jog, sprint, and basically have a good time with my kids.

It may be time for a change soon.

You might want to think about not exercising everyday, that would be good

I train Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Bodyweight stuff is just a warmup. I may actually revamp my routine bigtime though.

I prefer a double day split routine.

Yeah, I think this is the wave of the future for me. All exercises will be endurance except for squats, deadlifts, and shoulder presses. I'm also implementing some kind of running three days a week.

Overhead press is on hold. Instead I'll set other goals that also allow me to trim bodyfat off. Slow but steady cardio goals are now as important to me as weights. Plus, I'm focusing on my core.
