I was wondering how long it was going to take you to post something about Friday's Bellator card.... I can't wait for Held-Brooks. It's actually a relatively interesting card with a co-main even that is a "must see" bout for MMA fans. I can't wait to see if Held can get Brooks to the ground and tie him into a pretzel. Bellator has some really decent fighters, but their roster is thin. Chandler/Rickels 2? No point in that fight right now even if it is a good fight on paper.
To make money. This was a good card. Every winner looked good. The two girls they introduced for the New Years Eve card...looked like they would crush Rousey. The one named Lady Gaga or whatever looked like Cyborg's big brother. Has anyone seen either of them fight before? What weight are they, 205?
where you at BOSS? Decent UFC card last night, some brutal KOs. Rashid Magomedov looked impressive too.
I'm disappointed in Held. His cardio has always been a problem and he's just not improving it. He almost had Brooks in the first. Popped his knee and all. So close yet so far. He's still only 23. He definitely needs better strength and conditioning coaching. I would also suggest going to 145. Go join them alpha midgets at their camp.
Held performed well. As you mentioned, the dude is still only 23 and has plenty of time to improve. I just wished he would have realized how badly he fucked up Brooks knee. Oddly, Held would have been better served to try to keep it standing in the 2nd and 3rd rounds to make Brooks move around.
