Hasn't fought since Manny. No comeback in talks. Probably chubby right now. Is it safe to say he's done?
Done? Was he ever a thing? Injuries and not being very good and a few millions from the Pac fight, yeah he is done.
Thurman was Done BEFORE the Josesito Lopez and Manny Pacquiao Fights...And the Fact He HASN'T Fought Since PROVES It... Thurman WILL Fight Another Time or 3, but he's No Loooooooooooooonger a Legit FACTOR @ 47, In REED's Opinion... REED
If I had to choose, I would do Urma. Do her over 12. Or I might end it early. And it wouldn't be no "One Time" either.
I spoke too soon: [VIDEO] KEITH THURMAN TELLS ERROL SPENCE "STOP IT EJ...CAN'T TAKE THAT"; WARNS ABOUT "PHILADELPHIA BRICKS" || FIGHTHYPE.COM
He’s angling for a fight against either Crawford or Spence so he’s trying to get back on the scene but if those two just ignore him, then he won’t get a big fight. And we all know he’s not going to get in there with Ennis. Hell, none of those guys are gonna risk fighting him.
Keith sometimes Thurman should step back into the scene. If Danny Garcia and Shawn Porter can get a payday why can't Keef? Lol. But good lord Mary and Jesus.... Barrios vs Keef on PPV? Please take my money what a great fight.
I think we can all agree Thurman-Barrios is gonna break the Floyd-Pac PPV record this weekend. My only question is: By how much?
I genuinely wouldn't be all that surprised if it breaks the record for the least amount of PPVs sold involving a fighter who has won a world title. A record I believe is held by Brook-Jennings, with an embarrassing 15,000. If there's 15,000 retards willing to pay 75$ for this shit when it's a piece of piss to get it for free, I'd say that's the best example of non fatal natural selection you'll ever see.
Predictions though? I guess we're all trying to predict how much Keith has left in the tank. I suspect he'll still have enough to beat bummy Barrios.
I expect Thurman to win. He probably won’t do it in impressive fashion. But this is just to set up a fight with one of Spence or Crawford, and then when he loses to either, he’ll ride off into the sunset.
Via Fightnews: The co-feature is WBA featherweight champion Leo Santa Cruz (37-2-1, 19 KOs) against Keenan Carbajal (23-2-1, 15 KOs). Also in action are welterweight Abel Ramos (27-4-2, 21 KOs) against Josesito Lopez (38-8, 21 KOs), and former bantam/super bantam champion Luis Nery (31-1, 24 KOs) against unbeaten Carlos Castro (27-0, 12 KOs).
the undercard is definitely better than average, indicating the promoters' awareness this is a shit matchup. what will probably happen is, this ppv will do shit and then serve as exhbit A as to why thurman gets peanuts in his matchup with spence.
I see it being a messy, kinda boring decision win for Thurman. He'll look unimpressive throughout, but will take a 116-112-type decision.
I'm actually looking forward to see how much Thurman has left and if the ring rust is going to affect his performance against Barrios. Leaning towards Thurman winning, hopefully in impressive fashion.
Surely you can just watch Eubank Williams fight? That's definitely fit to be a better match than this, and in all honesty, will probably at a higher level.
