Stop fighting these washed up inactive fighters like De La Hoya, damaged Goods like Cotto and Hatton, face first slow handed predictable brawlers like Margarito and a guy that falls short every time in his biggest fighter who's only tactic is the hide behind his guard....Clottey.

These fights only re-establish that Pacman has a good chin, great stamina and tremendous handspeed...but they don't teach us anything new. They don't tell us how he'd cope with a smart fighter..or a slick fighter or a fast fighter in his prime.

I say...MAN UP and fight the undefeated Andre Berto. MAN UP..and prove you can beat Marquez without controversy. MAN UP and stop hiding behind excuses and fight the TRUE best fighter at the moment, Floyd Mayweather.

Pacquiao's succession of handpicked/"made for him" opponents must stop now. There are three guys right there, of which at least one he must fight or be deemed merely an opportunist with potential.

Did Floyd's biggest groupie just tell Manny to "man up"?

I didn't even read this thread. But the fact you didn't make one for PBF first means the only logical reply is: FUCK YOU.

Well according to him Floyd would beat Pacquiao up worse then Robinson would so I'm not surprised; hell, he might even think Floyd would beat Pacquiao up worse then even a prime Hearns would.

If Sly knew the difference between a right hook and a right cross, I would consider discussing this.

I wouldn't mind seeing Pacquiao fight an undefeated welterweight champion at 147 like Berto or Mayweather.

I wouldn't say he has to "man up" or "prove his potential", but yeah, I think a fight with Berto or Mayweather would be a bit of a departure from some of his recent major fights with Margarito, Cotto and Hatton.

I'd also like to see Berto fight a credible welterweight.

Berto? Really? I guess Pacquiao is due a tuneup at some point but do we really want to waste what could be one of his last few fights on a tuneup against Berto? I think not.

Even Berto doesn't want that fight, hell Berto don't even want to fight Pacquiao's left overs at 147, the dudes a fucking coward hiding behind his belt. He's been a champion what 2 years now, and still hasn't sniffed the elite in his division. What a joke.

Yeah, while we're at it maybe Pacquiao should be thinking about fighting Chavez Jr too, he's still undefeated ain't he?

That's probably only because you hate Chavez Jr.

Now that you mention it, I would pay to watch Pac beat the ever living snot out of Berto. Berto dies a thousand deaths every time he signs to fight the next top 20 welterweight in the world. Is he selecting his opposition by the opponents up the rankings or down?
