The preliminareis could END early...but the Main Event won't start before 11pm...gotta make sure all the big shot assholes get to their seats before the fighter make their way into the ring...

Yeah, there have been some nightmarish episodes of HBO killing time before the main event.

I think the "celebrity interviews" are probably the worst, especially when they start talking about boxing like they aren't just parroting someone else.

Seeing celebrities is a part of any big boxing event live.

Not when they're playing an "expert" on camera.

I'd say we have about roughly 3 hours to go before the schooling starts.

I'd say three and a half. Things won't get really bad until the 10th round, when De la Hoya will be just trying to survive.

It could end earlier than that. Everybody is assuming that all Oscar has to do is land one hook and Floyd will fall. Floyd isnt Vargas in the chin department though, he can take a shot. I think Oscar is gonna land one or two good hooks on Floyd within the first 4 rounds, but I think Floyd's gonna take em. Once that happens, I think the fight will essentially be over cause Oscar's only chance will go out the window. He cant outbox Floyd as some on this board think. I dont think he's gonna be retarded enough to even TRY. He's gonna attack Floyd, and look to knock him out which is his only chance. But it wont work, and he'll be left in the dark, eating pot shots all night long.

That's a rather simplistic view of the fight.
