I wanted to share my thoughts on the top 10 boxing video games of all time. As someone who's been playing these games for a long time, I think I have a pretty good handle on what makes a great boxing game. So without further ado, let's get into it:

    1. Ippo: The Fighting - This game has it all, from great graphics to tight controls and a deep career mode. It also captures the feel of the anime/manga series it's based on perfectly.

    2. Mike Tyson's Punch-Out - This classic game is still just as fun today as it was when it first came out. The colorful characters and unique gameplay make it a must-play for any boxing fan.

    3. Fight Night Round 3 - This game was a huge step forward for the series, with realistic graphics, fluid animations, and a deep career mode. It's still one of the best boxing sims out there.

    4. Knockout Kings - This series was the gold standard for boxing games in the '90s. The controls were intuitive, the roster was deep, and the gameplay was addictive.

    5. Ready 2 Rumble Boxing - This game took a more arcade-style approach to boxing, with over-the-top characters and ridiculous special moves. It's a blast to play with friends.

    6. Fight Night Champion - This game added a cinematic story mode to the series, which was a nice change of pace. The gameplay was also refined, making for a more realistic experience.

    7. Rocky - This game captures the feel of the Rocky movies perfectly, with iconic locations, music, and characters. The gameplay isn't perfect, but it's still a lot of fun.

    8. ESPN Boxing - This game was one of the first to use motion-capture technology, resulting in some of the most realistic animations of its time. It's a bit dated now, but still worth checking out.

    9. Victory Boxing - This game had a unique 3D perspective that made it stand out from other boxing games of its time. The roster was also deep, with lots of real-life boxers to choose from.

    10. Boxing Legends of the Ring - This game had a cool feature where you could create your own boxer and take them through a career mode. The roster of real-life boxers was also impressive.
So there you have it, my top 10 boxing video games of all time. Let me know what you think, and feel free to share your own favorites!

It's sad to see the UFC games and how well they play simply fail to work in a boxing game.

Fight night champion has always been my favourite boxing game.
