good list - although i'm not sure about Ward/Burton or Ward/Gatti I. Also, Pavlik/Taylor was a good fight, but not worthy of the list IMO. For example, ODH/Mosley I was a much better fight than it. So was Marquez/Austin. Even Marquez/Vazquez I was better than Taylor/Pavlik IMO.

No, I just listed the ten fights that I have seen that were the best, most of them happened in the usa. I have never seen Monshipour-Sith.

Marquez vs. Austin was not even the best fight of that night. that was a solid title fight, not great. And Ward/Burton was awesome. And ODH/Mosley 1 I should have put instead of Klit/Lewis.

Williams/Valenzuela was a good fight too - better than Taylor/Pavlik IMO. I think Pavlik/Taylor is over-rated. It was an entertaining fight, but nothing "that" special.

the fact that it was a legitimate middleweight title fight, between two undefeated fighters, and that it was a good fight is what made it special.

All fights including Gatti and/or Ward should automatically be dropped out. Also I'd add Lewis-Tyson

yeah that fight was a complete war as well. Kind of puts Duddy's "talent" into perspective but regardless yeah it was a great fight.

I like the list besides Toney-Jirov i fail to see what made this fight very good let alone great.

btw if u wanna see heavyweights going at each other like a duracell bunny with hundreds of punches and no effect you're in the wrong sport. LL-Vitali was better than all of the fights Dosta mentioned for other reasons IMO.

You could add fights like Cotto-Torres, Ayala-Adams, Brewster-Klitschko to the list that could probably go over Lewis-Klitschko.

There was someone hurt, knocked down or knocked out in every single fight I mentioned. LL-Vitali was a slopfest, it wasn't better than any of them.

    1) Diego Corrales-Jose Luis Castillo I
    2) Marco Antonio Barrera-Erik Morales 1
    3) Somsak Sithchatchawal- Mahyar Monshipour
    4) Felix Trinidad-Fernando Vargas
    5) Miguel Cotto-Ricardo Torres
    6) Arturo Gatti-Micky Ward I
    7) Isreal Vasquez-Rafael Marquez II
    8) Sergei Liakhovich-Lamon Brewster
    9) James Toney-Vassily Jirov
    10) Emmanuel Augustus-Micky Ward

I'm not too sure about the ordering, and maybe a fight like Kelly Pavlik-Jermaine Taylor or Oscar De La Hoya-Fernando Vargas should be on there instead.

I may be in the minority, but I thought Oscar Larios-Israel Vazquez II was better than Vazquez-Marquez I or II.

Tito-Vargas is WAAY too low on that list. It should be no lower than 3rd or 4th. It was a MUCH better fight than Ward-Burton & Taylor-Pavlik.
