    02. Friday
    03. Bachelor Party
    04. The Stoned Age
    05. Arthur

Even though Sideways was not a pure comedy, I thought it was as funny as fuck. The unintentional funny lines from Thomas Hayden Church's character was classic.

Kingpin was hilarious too. And it reminds me that Big Lebowski certainly qualifies as a comedy and should've been on my list.

I dunno if it's objectively top 5 greatest, but The Great White Hype is one of my top 5 favorite comedies.

Big Lebowski somehow gets funnier everytime i watch it. Which is some trick.

I also found Man Bites Dog pretty belly-aching in places, albeit pitch black comedy.

Totally agree. Saw Big Lebowski in the theater and loved it. But I hadn't come close at that point to realizing all its hilarity. One reason is I was in my early 20's when I first watched it. So seeing a guy write a check to buy a half gallon of milk, for example, didn't strike me as all that funny. But now it cracks me up. But that's only part of it. Another aspect is picking up on how dysfunctional the characters are. They're nutty enough to be hilarious. But also realistic enough to be appalling.

Kingpin has all kinds of memorable lines in it. One of my favorites:

Reporter: And what about the paternity suit?
Big Ern: Uh, I don't really wanna talk about it...and I pulled outta her WAY early!

Or when the old landlady is getting attacked, the two guys in the background just sit there and do nothing. When Roy throws coffee in his face and he runs off, one if them yells out,"PUSSY!"
