For some reason, I was never quite as high on that movie as most other people are. I think River Kwai and Zhivago are the better David Lean films.
I thought LOA was a terrific movie, but I agree River Kwai was better, and is arguably the best movie of the 50s. Never saw Zhivago, so can't judge. I'll get around Zhivago soon.
