As a boxing fan, I am getting tired of fights not being made over the money or boxers waiting for big world fights that never happen. These guys need to get these fights on to create some interest back in boxing.

5 Fights id love to see

1 Macklin vs Barker this one could be an epic fight with a great crowd, defintely sell out

2 Quigg vs Frampton to sort out who is the best british fighter at that weight

3 Tyson Fury vs David Price Even though price has lost recently, would be a great way to bounce back and try be the first to beat Fury

4 Khan vs Brook this fight been brewing for too many years now, two top quality fighters both in there primes, could be box office fight.

5 Chris Eubank jnr vs James De Gale this could be a very exciting fight might be a bit too early for Eubank though, but would be a good clash of styles.

anyone else got any to add?

Barker-Lee is the most likely fight to happen this year at middleweight. Barker-Macklin is long overdue. Should of happened well over a year ago. Murray-Macklin don't get on. I want to see that.

Quigg-Frampton will happen eventually, but both are at different points in their careers at the minute.

Price-Chisora looks likely to happen this year imo. Dangerous fight for Price if Chisora comes in shape.

Khan-Brook will only happen imo, if Khan gets in the ring against Garcia and Peterson again and beats them then steps up. I still think that fight is pretty unlikely to happen tbh.

Eubank Jr-DeGale won't happen for ages yet. Eubank Jr is a major step back for DeGale. Not worth looking at yet imo and Eubank Jr isn't even fighting at super-middleweight yet.

There are some excellent fights on the British scene that have taken place this year already, but don't get as much exposure.

Also to add, I want to see B.J Saunders-John Ryder next. Great fight that would be.

Kell Brook-Lee Purdy looks more likely to happen. Even Purdy-Denton Vassell. Frankie Gavin-Denton Vassell as I said in another thread will happen hopefully. All welterweight matchups.

This is the problem. You're too happy to say 'they're crap' rather than look at the fights stylistically. They make for good fights.

You're a fan of Frankie Gavin, right? Vassell has the advantage over him you know if they meet in size and power.

Not to sure about that, they have both been fighting on ch5 lately, give Eubank 5 to 8 more fights, if De gale has not progressed i can see it happening.

Actually not, Eubank fights quite alot he had two fights in two weeks, so i see him doing defintely 5-6 fights by the end of this year as long as he has no injuries

I'm pulling your leg. It's good the younger fighters are fighting every other month. It's what they need. The bigger names seem to fight twice a year now. On that note, I still don't see Eubank Jr-DeGale happening for ages yet and I think Eubank Jr loses as soon as he faces other top middleweight prospects.

I think Saunders out works him but eats some leather on the way to a win.

i prefer Saunders to Gavin, i think Saunders is a good fighter very good work rate but can see Ebank being to quick for him and awkward.

like to see Billy joe vs Murray that be a good match up

Gavin is far too lazy to make it in the pro game.

You know Saunders is pretty quick himself. Better jab and better overall skills. Eubank Jr just comes across as flashy and can get away with it against poor opposition. I actually want to go to Saunders' next fight.

Just a tad bit too soon that fight for Saunders imo, but that won't be far off for him. Saunders just needs a few more sterner tests and to get through them.

I put it down to a mixture of lazyness and troubles outside the ring effecting him, rather than being crap. He has skills. He is pretty useful.

You know what gets me a bit. Sky sports for instance saying "is George Groves World class?" and guys say "yeah" despite the fact he hasn't fought on the World stage yet against a Champion or game opponent.
