Supposedly after this, Bam Bam will get a title shot vs Soto. And I'm thinking that Rios will kick Soto's ass.

That is a pretty good card. I hope Chavez Jr can beat Gomez into retirement.

Decent Card. I wouldnt mind paying $29.99 for it. But I have a feeling this is a 54.99 PPV event. :scared2:

I agree and after Rios gets that tittle I think the best action fight at 135 is Rios vs. Katsidis. Neither guy will quit and will be a fucking great fight.

I've heard Rios talk about facing JMM next year but JMM will school that shit talking clown.

Rios Vs. Katsidis is the a FOTY candidate.

I think Rios would beat Katsidis at this point. I would like to see Rios whup Juan Diaz first.

based on what? all the shit talking? get real?

The guy has one fight on HBO against the weakest of the Peterson brothers and had a 15 lb advantage.

Talent wise Rios hasn't showned me anything better than Katsidis. To me both are come forward brawlers who thrive on not quitting and showing heart.

The difference is that Katsidis is proven and has come up short agasint JMM and Casamayor.

Rios hasn't even been in the ring with anybody that good.

The reason I think it would be a great fight is because of their styles and their no quit attitude.

put Rios in with JMM and he gets schooled. Rios is a basic fighter that punches hard and comes forward.

Jesus let the guy win a meaningful fight before you claim he beats the dog shit out of those guys.

Some future fights might be on the line with this card...Donaire-Montiel, the Soto/Antillon winner against Brandon Rios.

Arum should call Saturday's PPV card, "Set-up Fights and they ain't for Free!"

The main event is a set-up fight for Donaire apparently, not unlike the Montiel fight that will be on Fox Sports the following week. And the Soto fight is a set-up fight as well, for Soto/Rios. All for the wonderful price of $44.95. What a screw.

Is anyone planning to actually order this crap?

    :lol:mad: bold

I've been seeing a lot of TV ads for the event STILL featuring Chavez Jr vs Gomez. They are knowingly straight up conning people. Chavez Jr vs Gomez has been a dead fight for nearly two weeks. There is no excuse.

Call it whatever you want Sidorenko is the second best fighter Donaire will step into the ring with in his career so far.

Well, Arum, who's already negotiating a fight between Donaire and Montiel doesn't seem to be worried.

I think Katsidis beats Rios. They are similar, but Katsidis is more proven, and I don't see how Rios is better than Katsidis.

    I agree about Donaire too.

How has he not capitalised on his win over the fighting Rat? He's a good fighter, he should have a better resume than he has.

i dont see how katsidis is better than rios. he wouldnt have any size or strength edge so his biggest attribute is negated against rios.

    Id pick peterson over katsidis
