It's time to get this training on and do this right. I can't wait. Only 4 weeks away and 4 days away.

    Today is Day 1. I can't wait!!!

Well, my plan is a 5km run with a few windsprints on the return leg today.

It's probably gonna shake down like this:

    Jogging: 5km
Ropeclimbing: 4-5 trips up the rope with 10-20lbs.
Woodchopping: Maybe a quarter to a half a cord. I'll alternate the logsplitter axe with hatchets.

Then I'll box a few rounds with the heavybag outside and hit the gym.

Every day counts between now and May 19th.

5km done, and now on to the rest of my workout. May 19th can't come fast enough. I haven't been this enthusiastic about training in a long time!

SD and Hanzy challenged me to a bout and scheduled it for May 19th. I'm gonna politely yet firmly spank steve_dave.

Day 2: Well, got some ropeclimbing and a 5km run in last night. I didn't have time for anything else as the little lad is sick. Today will be windsprints, woodchopping, bag work, and handspeed drills followed by weights.

Will do. I'm training twice a day from here on out. I have two videocameras and I'll set them up at two angles.

Well, I chopped some wood, did flips on the trampoline, used the speedbag, had a fire in the outdoor firepit, and did some axethrowing and knifethrowing.

I'm gonna run windsprints and hit the heavybag tomorrow, but I have to make sure I mix it up. I think I might do some treeclimbing and canoeing this weekend.

Day 3: It's raining pretty good outside. Looks like a good day for indoor training. Fortunately I can load up my truck with firewood, and pitching that stuff is great for your grip and your swinging ability. Who knows? Maybe it'll clear up.

I can still chop wood, do windsprints on the treadmill, and set up a different heavybag in the basement. :fightme:

How does it feel to know that all this training you're doing will mean f*ck all when I beat the sh*t out of you?

    First off, it's Day 4:

Second off Ranjit, you're about as likely to show as you were to show up when I met slystaff 4 years ago. It's too bad. I know you wouldn't want to fight me, so I'd just chill, shoot pool, have a few beverages, and talk about MMA and boxing. I have an extensive library including the whole Pride FC collection.

Day 5 (Yesterday): got creative yesterday. I stacked a cord of wood in the firewood room yesterday after tossing it off the back of the truck and carrying it inside. I climbed rope with 20lbs in weight plates strapped to my back, and I used the trampoline. Then I did some circle-punching Kung Fu drills.

Day 6: Today I did nothing. Went to work, came home, chilled with the family, and watched the game. DAMMIT, Sens lost. Ah well, tomorrow's another day.

For some reason, I keep thinking that you were deeply inspired by Rocky IV. Nobody messes around as much with logs and trees as you do.:clapagain:

You need to take photos of your place, Buddy. Seems interesting. I will do the same. LOK said he would too but he's disappeared again.

I do take pictures of my place. I don't share most of them here because it's not anybody's business what my place looks like unless they are a friend or family member.

Day 8: 5km jog, 100 HSPU, jumped on the trampoline. I'm doing something different everyday. I would have done more yesterday, but it rained all day.

Yesterday I also climbed a tree for the first time in ages. Many ages. I forgot how many muscles you use when you do that. It felt fantastic to do that after having not done it for years.
