Unlike LeMoo, Tito WOULD land, so we'd REALLY see Golov's chin tested. BUT, I'd have to make Golov the favorite. I think he's too strong for Tito in the end. Golov TKO 11.
The Jab GGG displayed Saturday night will definitely pose a problem for Tito. It would have been interesting to see how GGG handled Tito's bombs.
Tito is slightly taller than GGG so it's a very different prospect than LeMoo, plus Tito was an accurate puncher with a tremendous ability to string the bombs together. Very tough fight for GGG
GGG is my boy but his competition is too mediocre and his chin is too untested. It's easy to see him controlling the fight and harder to see him doing the cha cha from a left hook or getting folded up with a right hand because we haven't seen it. He's not much bigger than Tito either. The whole intrigue of GGG- Lemoo was that we wanted to see if he had a chin and taking a handful of shots from a damaged defensive lemoo is still the best evidence of his chin. I don't question Golovkins ability or talent at all but there's still the question of his durability and how he responds to getting hurt or being in a tough close fight.
While i agree and there's little question Tito is better than anybody GGG has faced so far, there's still no reason to think think it's absolutely certain Trinidad would be the man to bring about those answers. For all we know he could deal with Trinidad with relative ease as well. I wouldn't bet on it, but it's not something that would utterly shock me either.
