Beating Barrett proves nothing. He should fight a top 10 contender then I'd be interested and it would show what he has left.

Hope Barret beats him, he deserves it. Both men deserve it.

Tua's best shot at a title is against Haye. He still has a punchers chance against the Klits, but is a heavy underdog. He's definitely going to need more ring time, against much better opposition and win of course, but it would be a great story if he could get himself to that point where he has a title to go for, but is a huge task.

Ya Haye he could beat. Not saying he would but he could who knows. Klitschkos would dominate him and stop him late. Accumulation type tko

Geez....it says something about Tua's recent career that Monte Barrett is the toughest opponent he has fought for some time.

Slice, do you think Tua can get back on the road and get himself a title shot?

No. Haye as a heavyweight isn't all that. He'll get caught with something sooner or later.

Tua is so far out of the game by now that I am not sure he can really orchestrate any sort of a run, or drag anything like the performances needed out of himself.

Consider further that even in his prime, come-from-behind-stoppages occurred often enough for him.

Now, 10 years after his prime, I can see him not being able to pull the trigger like before.

I can see Tua stopping Haye late if they fight.

I do tend to side with the opinion Haye wouldn't take the fight...although I have no idea how eager Tua is for a fight like that at this stage, either.

Tua is very lazy, I know that much, and he squandered not only his title opportunity, but his best years as a fighter as well.

His day is long gone, and he knows it.
