Main Bouts (On Pay-Per-View): -Chuck Liddell (21-7) vs. Rich Franklin (26-5) -Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipovic (26-7-2) vs. Pat Barry (5-1) -Paulo Thiago (13-1; #5 Welterweight)* vs. Martin Kampmann (16-3; #10 Welterweight)* -Ben Rothwell (30-7) vs. Gilbert Yvel (36-14-1) -Carlos Condit (24-5) vs. Rory MacDonald (10-0) Preliminary Bouts (On Spike TV): -Mac Danzig (19-7-1) vs. Matt Wiman (11-5) -Tyson Griffin (14-2) vs. Evan Dunham (10-0) Liddell by KO 2. Both fighters are shot, so I'll take the shot fighter with the better punch. Imagine how big this fight would've been just a few years ago? Cro Cop KO 3. I don't think much of Barry at all. I know Mirko is done, but he should have enough left in him to wear down Barry enough to where the ref stops the fight late. Thiago Sub 2. Thiago's only loss is to Fitch, which there is no shame in. He's KO'd Koshcheck, who is getting a title shot, and just subbed Swick, which is impressive. Kampmann is overated. Rothwell KO 1. Ben is my boy and Yvel is a scumbag with no business in the UFC. Hopefully Big Ben KO's him right out of the UFC. MacDonald UD. MacDonald has looked great, but against suspect competition. I think he's good enough to beat Condit, but he won't stop him or sub him. Wiman by UD. I think Danzig's days in the UFC are numbered, and a loss to Wiman will most likely send him packing. Griffin UD. Most likely it'll be fight of the night. Why Griffin isn't talked about as one of the top 155ers in the UFC is beyond me. Actually, I know why...because he doesn't have any power, but he's a damn good fighter, and is never in a boring fight. Like I said in the other thread, I think this is gonna be a really fun card. The fights may not be important, but they should be entertaining. TFK
1 - Liddell TKO 1. As shot as Chuck is, he still has the ability to KO the overrated Franklin. 2 - Barry TKO 2. Although Barry is a limited fighter, I dont think Mirko will try to exploit this and try to take it to the ground. Barry wins being the fresher, younger striker. 3 - Thiago UD. Kampmann is crap. 4 - Yvel via TKO 1. Rothwells striking is overrated and Yvel has the edge here by far. 5 - MacDonald UD. Never thought much of Condit. 6 - Danzig Sub 2. Danzig has had a couple of tough losses, think hes better than Wiman though. 7 - Griffin UD. Griffin is one of my favorite fighters to watch. He brings it every time. Griffin via experience. Dunham has never been in there with anyone near Griffins level.
Liddell UD CroCop KO1--everyone proclaims that he's back Thiago SUB1 Yvel TKO2 Condit TKO1 Griffin TKO1
Thiago vs. Kampman could be a good fight. I like Kampmann, he has good technical ability but is not very strong or explosive. Thiago by 2nd round TKO.
Franklin UD. Barry UD Thiago Sub 2 Rothwell TKO 2 Condit UD Danzig TKO 1 Griffin UD Feel free to put these in your sig Hanzy. I am sure they are all wrong.
Franklin KO 2----- Chuck's reflexes are gone. Franklin is not nearly as old or shot as Liddell. I like Franklin to push the pace and catch Chuck in the 2nd. Mirko KO 3----- Probably the toughest fight for me to call. Cro Cop is done as a contender but I still think he can best guys on the fringe like Barry. Thiago UD---- Thiago beats Kampman easily over 3 rounds proving again he's the real deal and that Jon Fitch is the best guy at 170 not named GSP. Rothwell KO 1--- Rothwell is just the better puncher in my opinion and Yvel will get tagged and quit. Condit UD---- A tough test for the undefeated MacDonald. Condit's experience wins this one in a close fight. Danzig UD--- I just like Danzig. The guy has been roughed up lately against solid B level competition. I think Wiman is just a rung below that. Griffin UD---- Dunham is a very good looking prospect but he ain't ready for this. Few guys are ready for Tyson at 155.
For everyone that has their picks up or intends to make them, I will post the results tomorrow. And I will keep a running total as events occur.
The fans can boo all they want but Condit was getting that ass seriously at the end. How great is Greg Jackson in the corner....
Good stuff by both fighters. Jackson didn't sugarcoat it, that's for sure! Macdonald was humble and honest in defeat. That was great. Young Macdonald has a future. E-I-E-I-O
That Canadian kid was really tough just inexperienced. He's also humble and likeable, why are mma fans so retarded? They boo everything, 10 seconds or not that kid was losing memories by the elbow.

That fat bum was in full mount of a dead body for 10 minutes and can´t finish him. I say as a reward he gets Dos Santos.
Oh man, not this discussion again. Soon someone will post pictures of former #1 contender, Chris Areola, and I just can't take looking at that right now.
Please, Arreola is a fat bum, but his cardio is Pacquiao-esque compared to Rothwell. Arreola would beat that fat fuck even in a UFC cage.
