    Lesnar vs Carwin
    Vanderlei vs Akiyama
    Lytle vs Matt Brown
    Soszynski vs Bonnar
    Sotiropoulos vs Pellegrino

Lytle vs Brown is a WAR!!!! That one is guaranteed to have wicked fireworks. Picking Brown to get the win.

Vanderlei against Akiyama, another war. My guess is Vanderlei takes a close one.

Lesnar vs Carwin. My pick is Carwin. I'm predicting Carwin to land one of those lunchbox fists early and make it an interesting night for Brock.

Soszynski vs Bonnar is a good solid bout that was cut short last time. I think Soz takes it.

Sotiropoulos gets a win over Pellegrino.

This is almost worth staying completely sober for. :)

For anyone that didn't see it, the first Bonnar-Sosynski fight was a brutal war stopped short because of a Bonnar cut. This should be a great rematch.

Also, Sotiropoulos vs Pellegrino should be a BJJ fans wet dream. These are two of the best guys at applying BJJ in an MMA fight currently fighting in the UFC in my opinion.

Carwin-Lesnar... It will be short but brutal. Two great wrestlers that will cancel each other out and keep it standing. Unfortunately they both hit too hard for this one to last long.

The main event is great, the rest of the card is crap.

Actually, you know what: I like Brown a lot, but I changed my mind because I think Lytle takes it. Lytle has decent submissions and I can see Brown getting caught in one.

Crap is way offbase here. Wanderlei can never be in a crappy fight. Lytle/Brown will be a fun fight and I think that Sotiropolous/Pelligrino should be good as well. As little as I think of Bonnar, that fight wasn't half bad, maybe it will be just as good.

These matchups mean little to title contention or even contender status in any division. That shouldn't be the sole criteria but it should be a high priority.

Lesnar's EGO is Getting the Better of him OR, Dana White's TRYING to Get him BEATEN...

By Fightnight, it will have Been Nearly a YEAR Since Lesnar's Stepped Into the Cage to Fight ANYBODY, Nevermind The Most PHYSICALLY IMPOSING Opponent he's Ever Faced...Dude Should've Taken a GIMME 1st, N REED's Opinion...

Like REED Said Before, if Lesnar WINS, it's a Pretty Remarkable Achievement, Based on what we've Seen of Carwin...Shane Carwin is a Certified BEAST & he's "Hot" Right Now...REED Thinks Carwin will B Cautious Initially, but Catch Lesnar LATE in the 1st Round & OVERWHELM him Punches til he's Removed from Conciousness...

This is true, but sometimes some of the best fights don't involve the top contenders.

    AgREED..

If Carwins wrestling is as good as some people say it is, and Lesnar has a hard time taking him down, then Lesnar is going to have a very difficult night.

Wrong. Sotiropoulos and Pellegrino are both top 10 Lightweights. Many fans put Sotiropolus in the top 5 at 155. I am among them. The winner of this fight could very well be next up for the winner of the Edgar-Penn rematch.

And Akiyama is generally considered a top 10 MW and probably one of the top 6 or 7 in the UFC. A impressive win over Wandy, and Akiyama is in the mix as a challenger at 185.

I'm not sure if Joe is just taking a back handed swing at MMA or if he generally just doesn't follow the sport. But can any fan of MMA not be excited about this card? There isn't a single fight on the main card that doesn't look entertaining.

And again, who said every bout on a PPV card has to have title implications? The HW Championship is on this card and they filled it out with contenders and great match ups.

Go ahead and hate on UFC 115, but this card is solid.

Right but it should be a concern when judging on whether to shell out 50 bucks.

WTF? Maybe I am a bit of a fanatic here, but Carwin-Lesnar is all I need to make this PPV Worthy.. You could fill the rest of the card with gladiator reenactments with midgets and I'm still in.

This is a freaking pay per view, not a free SPIKE event. The quality of undercards have gone down dramatically. To me a co-main event fight should be one that propels the winner into an immediate title shot, not just put someone into contention.

Co-Main Event? This card doesn't need a co main event with Lesnar-Carwin headlining. This is the most anticipated HW showdown in recent history. It's huge.

Even so, the undercard is stacked full of great match-ups with contenders and top ranked guys. This card is an example of great match making. It's almost like Joe Silva pitted the exact right people against each other.

Fans will love this card. Haters who really don't follow the sport outside the big names will end up loving the fights.

Very true. Lytle and Brown will be a great battle as will Silva and Akiyama. Add to that, Lesnar-Carwin.

Soszynski-Bonnar was heating up last time.

Even the Kendall Grove fight has a similar standup fighter who likes to bang.

I think it's a solid night capped off by the UFC Heavyweight champ against the interim champ.

The haters know who they are. I don't have to point them out.

But I will say anyone that doesn't see the value in this card is:

    A) A Hater
    B) Uninformed
    C) Hanzy or a reasonable fascimile thereof

I dunno. Watching the fights at a bar with beer and chicks, or watching it at home alone on your computer. If I were single, I'd be going out. Shoot some pool afterwards.

I totally disagree. I really like watching important fights that I am totally interestedin either alone or with 1-2 of my good hardcore fightfan buddies. There is nothing worse that going to a big fight that you are really trying to pay attention to, and having to hear the "drunk party funny guy, annoying chick, or know it all fan who only watches the 2 biggest fights per year" say "when are they gonna stop hugging?", "why is he wearing his underwear?", "man he needs a tan!", or "I wanna see Tyson fight this guy!"

My bitchslap hand always starts twtching during these instances.

    Hilarious.

I guess the undercard should've been GSP\Anderson, Shogun\Rashad and Velasquez\JDS. But that probably still wouldn't be good enough.

Nice try. I've praised the UFC for good undercards in the not so recent past and even the one coming up with BJ/Edgar 2. This is a garbage undercard.

I don't have the bitchslap urge, but I completely understand your point. I've watched a ton of UFC cards at sports bars nearby and it seems like there are always a few guys that always feel inspired to start a fight. That's my main issue with watching these fights in a crowd.

My brother and a couple of our friends have about the same level of interest in MMA and it's good to chill with them and watch the fights especially when we like opposing fighters.

I kind of agree, while I wouldn't call it garbage, it's definitively unspectacular imo. Wanderlai is shot and Akiyama should beat him up, Storipoulos-Pellegrino could be decent but wouldn't be surprise at all if it's a bore, the rest is contested between C level guy's. could make up for some good fights but so what, some fights in toughman contest turns out great but I still wouldn't pay a dime for them. Decent card but far from amazing
