This is one of the deepest cards in UFC history in my opinion. The prelims could literally fill a UFC free TV card. Given the fact that two of the prelim fights are on Spike I've added them to the prediction contest. Not only that, but both fights feature WEC fighters against proven veterans. Add Kid vs Mouse. @danawhite How about trying to get Kid Yamamoto vs DJ on spike? danawhite @abouthekid I have something special for that fight so hang tight
Solid card. I expect Jon Jones to beat Bader convincingly via UD but for it to be a struggle early. Griffin to punk Franklin Silva wins and has his mojo back, though I hope he is KTFO.

I like to pick and leave and then come back to see how I did. Unless you've got some cutoff date expressly in your rules, adding or changing fights after someone has already picked is bullshit if that person doesn't realize it.
I agree. And it typically won't happen, but adding the Kid Yamamoto fight was a good idea. And to that point only one person had posted their picks. If Traz doesn't get back in and make the additional pick then we simply won't count that bout. This contest is tight and will be run well to the end. Believe that.:warning:

Forrest is probably the worst fighter to ever win a modern day UFC title ever and probably will be for a long time. And he shouldn't have even won that.
Great weigh-in. Silva was more aggressive than normal. He actually pressed his face against Belfort's and they had to be physically pulled apart. Good stuff. A couple of things jumped out. First, Jon Jones is lanky as shit and it's hard for me to imagine Bader not being able to take him down and keep him there. Second, even though Franklin scaled out at 203, he didn't look significantly smaller than Griffin. TLC might be right. Franklin might be too much for Griffin.
Seriously dude, do you have to contradict every single comment anyone makes on here? I never said being lanky does or does not determine how good a wrestler someone is. All I'm saying is that, from my own personal experience being tall and lanky, it was difficult to wrestle guys that were shorter and stockier. It doesn't mean it was an automatic disadvantage. I learned leverage and using the length of my legs to sprawl. It also made leg riding and craddling on the ground a bit easier. But having a higher center of gravity while standing was definitely something that wasn't in my favor. Make no mistake about it, there is a reason the majority of great wrestlers are more on the short and stocky side rather than tall and lanky. The great thing about Jones is that he's always been able to leverage good throws in the cage so hopefully that will help him against Bader.
