Just how good is this card ? The 3 highlighted ones I REALLY look forward to. Anything else here I should pay attention to ? Matchups: UFC Middleweight Championship Anderson Silva (No. 1 MW, No. 1 PFP) vs. Vitor Belfort (No. 5 MW) Forrest Griffin (No. 5 LHW) vs. Rich Franklin Ryan Bader (No. 6 LHW) vs. Jon Jones (No. 7 LHW) Jake Ellenberger vs. Carlos Eduardo Rocha Miguel Torres vs. Antonio Banuelos Chad Mendes vs. Michihiro Omigawa Norifumi Yamamoto vs. Demetrious Johnson Sam Stout vs. Paul Kelly Mike Pierce vs. Kenny Robertson Paul Taylor vs. Gabe Ruediger Kyle Kingsbury vs. Ricardo Romero
you already have it highlighted but the Bader/Jones fight is the one I have my eye on. Should be great. I am kind of curious to watch Miguel Torres. i still think he is much better than what he has shown lately.
true, I forgot about Charlie Valencia. I was thinking more about Bowles and Benavides. Hopefully he can keep the winning going. With the addition of Faber and Kid, there are some really nice matchups at 135 in the UFC.
Vitor Belfort is one of the biggest chokers in sports. GSP and Anderson really have nobody to fight outside of each other.
belfort is a front-runner. i guess knocking out franklin was impressive, but after about 2 or 3 minutes into the first round, silva will start taking him apart. franklin vs. forrest might be a fun fight, but no one gives a shit about either guy at this point. bader vs. jones is the most interesting fight imo.
Even when Belfort was in his prime, he got his ass kicked by pretty much every good fighter he fought. ATG my ass.
Bader vs Jones is the most interesting fight although I'm curious about the main event, too. I think either Bader or Jones would beat Griffin.

Here we go again. He beat Randy once from a cut but was stopped by him twice. A "prime" Yvel? You are kidding, right?
So because it punched him in the face and cut him, it doesn't count? And no, I'm not kidding, the damn near 13 year vet that was last seen in the UFC was a shell of the Yvel that was tearing up the opposition with devastating striking back when Vitor fought him.
Bob, don't waste your time. Remember, Aoki is the best grappler in MMA, Hector Lombard could mop the floor with anybody, Anderson Silva is the GOAT, Fedor is a bum, MW is a GREAT weight class in todays MMA landscape, Brock has cauliflower ears from getting hit (and then TLC pretends to not care of the medical effects brought about by wrestling after being proven wrong) and now Randy is a bum (nevermind, he's the oldest fighter and most decorated fighter over multiple divisions in american MMA). If TLC says it, it must be true. Do like I do - observe and ignore.
.....uhh..... I was being sarcastic about TLC. He actually possesses a very astute knowledge of the sport. I honestly enjoy what he contributes to these forums most of the time. Once in a while, I disagree and make it known with colorful superlatives. Sarcasm begets sarcasm, Bob.
He got his ass kicked twice by Randy and lucky split his eyelid open with a finger for a win. Hes the MMA version of Zab Judah, talented but can't get the job done.
It was the lining of his glove actually. Randy was a strong wrestler, bad matchup for him, but he's beaten good fighters, which was the point. I think he takes Anderson down repeatedly and possibly even subs him.
