McGregor should win early. The only way dustin wins is he takes conor into deep waters.

I don’t know guys but to me, it almost felt like McGregor gave up. I know his leg was badly bruised, so he probably was done anyway but I’ve seen fighters way more out of it than he was try to hold on and weather the storm. Seems like inactivity, money, or becoming a father (whatever that is) turned him into a frontrunner. I might be wrong though... And I can’t really fault him, it’s such a hard business. It might be time for retirement although he seemed keen on rematching Poirier.

I haven’t seen all of his fights so I didn’t really notice that before.

He's a mouthy cunt and always was. He was ALWAYS a fronter. Throw in money and he acquires more front than a study of Meteorological affairs.

He's a mouthy foolish twat, always has been.

The Irish people bought into this crap "A true shtar", they said "Grand for the nayshun", they opined.

And your man, covered in ink, making a show of himself, shouting and roaring at people and throwing things.

    The lad is an embarrassment.

No doubt, while McGregor was probably a case of a fighter being st the right place at the right time, he was looking like a real monster for a while. Now, it's obvious he's not serious anymore and just in it for the attention and the money. It all probably came in too soon and too quickly for him to stay focused.

    Kind of like Adrien Broner.

Is this about Ronda Rousey or Conor? They're cut from the same cloth.

Considering her background in Judo, Rousey was a real fighter as well. Could also say she had a better career than MacGregor. Still, both were hyped to be more than they were and once the bubble popped it was more about reputation than dominance.

Khabib like Nunes have proven they are nowhere near as popular but very much better fighters than MacGregor or Rousey.

It's the same thing though as far as their skills go. You'll always get found out if you aren't well rounded, and neither of them are.

Both of them are sorta one trick ponies - Rousey had Judo and aggression and an overhand right, but couldn't box for shit, couldn't kick for shit. McGregor had decent hands and feet- a nice left hand counter and closed distance/good counter timing, but the rest of his game whether general ground, stamina, leg kick defense, chin etc were all a bit shaky. You just never saw it cos he tended to spark guys.

At least Rousey dominated her game i.e. ground, she was never subbed. McGregor, the 'master striker', just got beat up and KTFO - that's embarassing.

I really dont like McGregor..but he had decent td defense as shown vs mendez. He has way too many big names on his resume to be classit as a roussey type fighter

I suppose when your gas tank is good for a couple intense volleys of 2 maybe even 3 strike combos before you’re running on fumes, then part way into the 2nd round is well into ‘deep waters’.
