Fuck, the contract Icon signed Mayhem to would have paid him more per fight than everyone on that list other than Chuck, Randy, and Frank Mir.....UFC really seems to be cutting their fighters short
I honestly can't believe they paid one of their fighters $2,000. Risking their life, and on a PPV event for 2 fucking grand. Stingy assholes. For UFC 57 the PPV and gate revenue was around 10 million I think, or at least near that amount. Crazy the way fighters get shafted so badly.
Apparently, Chuck and Randy also got a big cut of the PPV money, and each made somewhere near 1 million for the fight
Sponsorship pays the bills and leaves very little for anything else. Liddell gets paid huge in endorsements....but not alot of guys make much coin and NO ONE else gets near what Liddell takes home.
