According to Sherdog, UFC 60 at the Staples Center has only sold 8,000 tickets thus far with two days left until the show. That's very disappointing, considering the hype Zuffa has been heaping on this PPV. Even though that isn't a concern of ours, does it have to do with the cheapest tickets being $200, or with the fact that Royce and Hughes just aren't able to pack the arena the way guys like Couture, Liddell, and Ortiz can? What was UFC 59? 12,000 tickets sold thanks to Tito Ortiz's return along with Sylvia/Arlovski 2 for the heavyweight title?
its a little bit of both, that and that MMA fans are starting to realize that UFC STARS arent exactly the best fighters in MMA....Diego, is kind of lost on fans as well, which hurts seeing how most of the fans that were selling out the arenas lately were people brought to the show by TUF
Now's the time for Pride to come in and blow these motherf*ckers out of the water!!!!:sportif3: I wish Fedor and them were sitting in the crowd for this UFC show and berating all their fighters.
Contrary to what I said about Dana not wanting to put his stars in the Pride ring, rumor has it that a few stars from Pride might make their way to the Octagon:nixweiss:
Dana has offered a contract to some Pride guys? There's the Quinton Jackson rumour going around. Anybody else you might know?
I'm pretty sure Rampage has signed with WFA.....RUMOR has it, that after Chuck fights Babalu, Wandy is next.....thats if Chuck gets past Babalu again....He has REALLY been improving
