I know we're way too early to discuss this, but what fights would you like to see on this event?

if hatsu hioki wins his next fight vs. roop and fights again in between and wins, a fight against jose aldo would be a good co-feature if not as the main event.

akiyama would be making his welterweight debut and i'd like to see him vs. matt hughes or matt serra if either guys are still around by then.

okami vs. the winner of le/belfort would also be ideal.

 

There are no dominate Japanese MMA fighters, so they would have to beat cans to make the show useful

 

Japanese suck really bad at mma / combat sports in general. They should stick to creating play stations.

I would definitely try and work Machida into a title shot for this card. I love the hioki/Aldo fight as a co main event too. Okami will of course be on this card. Don't be suprised if you don't see guys like Kid Yamamoto and Aoki get signed for this as well against cupcakes to get the crowd yelling.

 

machida doesnt have a fanbase in japan. he's a brazilian citizen.

Big Nog should be on that card.

As for the OP, Reben should fight Okami.

Hioki-Ardo I'm not sure about, Jose has Kenny Frorian still and that's no gimme.

Ryoto is funnier because it's actually real, they actually call him "Ryoto Machida" in Japan. :dunno:
