During the Bellew-Usyk broadcast, they kept refering Usyk as arguably the best CW ever. How does he fare against the consensus best CW ever?
I think Usyk poses some problems early doors but doesn't have the firepower to keep Holyfield off him and gets outworked. Comfortable UD Holy.
Marciano would be a Cruiserweight if he was around today, so I guess we can pose that question as well. I think Usyk would discover that Marciano ain't Gassiev...
don' t think it would be close to be honest. I see Holy landing a ton of counters on Usyk. I'm pretty sure he would stop him
For once I'm in agreement with JOM. I fail to see anything special in Usyk. Holy lights him up horribly.
Usyk is a slow starter, so I fail to see how he would cause problems early to Holyfield. If he's to be competitive (which I don't think he would) it would be because of a late surge imo
Imo his gas tank is special for a modern 200+ cruiser and his footwork is fleet. Thus Holyfield wouldn't simply drown him early, but there wouldn't be any doubt about the outcome
