26 June. I’m sure nobody’s seen much of the Japanese guy just as I imagine he doesn’t stand much of a chance against Loma.

He's the guy that knocked out Verdejo and gave Teofimo a horrible night, right? Good comeback fight to be fair.

Yeah and he's also got a big height and reach advantage over Loma.

Yeah, it's a weird one, I expect Loma to win but I'm not sure he will look good doing it. Nakatani comes to fight and has the physical advantages to make it a tough night's work.

Apart from the Crolla fight Loma hasn't looked good in his lightweight outings, his swarming style is vulnerable against bigger, stronger guys. Interesting to see if he has figured out something new

Nakatani just beat a killer. Loma will be tested.

Same night as Davis-Barrios btw. I guess I'm ordering that one. Anyone else?

I don't think Nakatani is much of a threat. Loma won't try to ko him but will box his ears off easy

POOR Choice for a Comeback Opponent, from a Matchmaking Perspective...

NOBODY Looks Good Against Nakatani and he's a LOT Bigger Than Loma...Stylistically, Even Commey Would Be a BETTER Option...

REED Thinks There'll Be More QUESTIONS Than Answers Regarding the State of Loma's Career, After This One...Not Saying Loma LOSES, But There's No Way he Looks IMPRESSIVE, Even if he Wins....

This is dumb. I would have thought Loma would have gone back down to a division that is more physically balanced for him. I get that nobody below wants to fight him or is much of a matchup but it doesn’t make sense to stack the deck against yourself. It’d be different if it was just a weight thing but Loma’s is short in stature and limbs, he’s like Tyrion Lannister out there.

Yeah. Couldn't Loma fight Valdez at 130?

If I were Loma, I would have came back against a soft touch with a name, like post-divorce JuanMa Lopez

I mean, to be fair to Loma, he is the second best lightweight in the world.

Those clowns Haney and Kingry can't beat Loma.

It COULD'VE, But Loma was Toooooooooooo ARROGANT to Put a Rematch Clause in the Contract (Which EVERY High Profile Fighter Does, No Matter WHO They're Fighting), Something 'Fimo Specifically ASKED FOR...

"Loma Doesn't Do Rematch Clauses" is what he was Told...

Loma's REASONING for Facing Nakatani Makes it Worse...He Picked Nakatani BECAUSE 'Fimo Struggled w/Him, a Guy He Could/SHOULD Be Preparing to Face in RE...

Would be a much harder fight for Loma than we all would think, Nakatani made a big statement when he stopped Verdejo (good riddance) in a great comeback fight.
It has potential to be a great scrap, although Loma SHOULD be able to pull this one off via decision. If Loma beats Nakatani in emphatic fashion then a rematch for Lopez could be inevitable.
