I don't think Haye, at 190, would win a single minute of a single round, he would be exhausted very quickly. At 200, he has a far better chance. But he still loses. Jirov proved he could mix with pretty tough hombres and take repeated flush shots, guys like Mesi, Toney, even Moorer, when Jirov was past his best and 20lbs north of where he started. Haye would have to land something very big, very early, and then flurry, hope to get it called off. At 200+ I think Haye beats him handily.
Haye beats him handily at any weight. The difference in level was not that big (Jirov was better than Mormeck who gave Haye a tough fight) but Jirov's style plays right into Haye's hands. Haye would catch him with that counter right often and finish it in about six rounds
Yep. Jirov was tough, but just too easy to hit. Haye had pretty serious power @ cruiser. Combine that with his hand speed and Jirov coming forward constantly and he'd get lighted up fierce.
Jirov was a monster. He beats Haye, Haye's counter's wouldn't mean shit when he's getting his ass handed to him 10 shots to 1
