I think he should be #4 after Mayweather, Pac and Calzaghe.

Also i still think that Rafael deserves to be in the top 10 even though he is coming off 2 straight loses.

I agree, that's just where he should be. He should move to #3 if Pacman loses to Marquez of course.

Who do you think he should fight after a break and a soft touch?

Their styles make for good fights. Hamed would have wasted both though

I never thought that Vasquez would go on to have this kind of success after Larios iced him back in 2002.

No. Vazquez would have wasted Hamed. He would have given him a bigger beating than Barrera did.

No. The guy gets hit very much. It makes for entertaining fights but Hamed punched unlike most midgets

No, if you lose, you should be out of the top 10. Especially if you lost twice in a row.

    He's not p4p material

He's a decent fighter but I can name 15 or more better fighters than him. I still remember Larios kicking his ass before Vasquez started using roids

What makes you think he started using Roids?

And name the 15 fighters you feel are better than him. He is absolutely P4P material, he's in a similar league to Morales/Barrera in their primes. Even if you don't think he's top 5, he's top 10 at least, factoring in ability, recent wins, resume etc.

hamed is good at beating champions named vazquez who moved up in weight. I'm sure if hamed were around and at his peak presently he wouldve waited for israel to get older before facing him

    Since when, bro?

That is the problem with the sport & fans today, with all due respect.

    Incorrect.

    Peace.

i AGREE, i DON'T SEE The logic. A guy could beat 5 future hall of famers in a row, and then lose twice to another great fighter, and he's not p4p anymore?:dunno:

Sweet, with your logic, I'll put Roy Jones Jr back at the number one spot.

I'm not saying RJJ deserves the spot.

Where is Winky Wright in the top 10 P4P? He lost to Hopkins?

Wasn't Hopkins taken out of the top 10 P4P, when he lost to Taylor?

Wasn't Tarver taken out of the top 10 when he lost to Hopkins?

People took Hatton out of the top 10 P4P, when he lost to P4P #1 and even thought that was his ONLY LOSS.

I'm just giving examples of how fighters have been taken out. Just because Marquez was competitive and put on a good show, doesn't mean that he should stay in the top 10. He's in the top 20 for sure though. There has to be a cut off.
