Huerta could have had him out after the kncokdown, but he kept trying for the same combination. Diamond looks done in.

 

Diamond was knocked down in the 12th, he was hit with a punch and went down.

Kid Diamond lost by four points and corrupt officials gave him the fight.

The one judge that scored it for Huerta gave him the fight by five points, which is spot on.
I gave the kid the fight by four points, and I can see five.
Again: that was a knockdown in the 12th by Huerta that the ref didn't call.

 

and that was a great showing for benny huertas' kid. He was completely cool after the fight too. "I know I won, I don't need a rematch."

If I ever see huertas again I'll root for him for sure, but damn his face was beaten up fierce.

yeah that fight wasn't even close.....i had it 5-1 Huerta after 6, but it could easy have been 6-0 for Huerta...Diamond won one or two rounds in the later part of the fight....but not even close...9-3...9-2..
