    Should be a good fight.

I'm looking forward to this one. One of the better Telefutura main events in a while.

I've been looking forward to this fight for a while (I've even written three separate articles on it). That said, I couldn't believe when Chente opened up as a 3-1 favorite. I placed a bet on Salcido the moment odds posted; it's since been driven down to Escobedo -200 and Salcido +160.

Even Esco's home base believes he's going to lose tonight. My only concern is Dominic moving up in weight, but beyond that, I believe a new star at 130-135 will be born tonight.

Thus Far, Salcido's CLEARLY the More Athletic Fighter...His HANDSPEED & MOBILITY R Faaaaaaaaaar Superior to Escobedo's...

Salcido's BEATING Escobedo to the Punch, but he's HANGING In the Pocket a Bit Tooooo Long & Getting Hit N Return...

Escobedo's Left JAB has been his Best Punch...Salcido's Landing Uppercuts, Overhand Rights & Bodyshots, PLUS, he's Got Escobedo BITING on Every Feint...

Salcido has a Purina Dog Chow Pattern on the Sides of his Head, w/a Red Rooster Mohawk Running Down the Middle:lol:...1st Time REED has Seen Salcido Fight, but REED ALREADY Likes him...

Going N 2 the 4th, REED has Salcido Up 2-1...

REED's Given the Last 2 Rounds to Salcido, Making the Score 4-1 after 5 Rounds...

He's Landing Hooks w/BOTH Hands, Right Uppers & Overhand Rights...

    WOW!!!...

Sooon as REED Said that, Escobedo Lands a CRUSHING Left Hook, which Makes Salcido Retreat...Escobedo JUMPS on him Landing a Straight Right & Another Left Hook-Right Hand which Drops Salcido HARD!!!!...

He Gets Up & Gets Flurried on til the Ref Stops it...SLIGHTLY Premature, but Dude WAS HURT...He's Not Really Complaining Either...

    WOW!!!!...

Salcido's Right Nostril is Dripping Blood...He Got CARELESS N a Fight that he was Winning Rather EASILY...

REED has been Pretty INDIFFERENT about Escobedo...But this is the Type of DRAMATIC Win that his Career Needed...

Salcido was WINNING the Fight & REED would Favor him N a RE, but it's Doubtful he'll Get his Opportunity...Escobedo will Take this Win & RUN w/it...

& CRUSHING Left Hook, Followed by a 3 Punch Combo DROPPED Salcido & a Couple Neck Snapping Shots Led to the Somewhat Premature Stoppage...

Ringside I had it 3-1-1 in favor of DJ going into the 6th and it appeared he had Escobedo a little tired. He got careless and paid dearly for it. Post fight he was down about it but knew he got careless and vowed to come back off of this. He is also not going to fight at 135 until he is 100% ready to do so and will go back down to 130

good kid his looks throw people off but the kid is about as nice as they come
