Nobody cares ? Just checking! I see a Tua vs Who (15-19 record) but I don't see a World Heavyweight Champion versus undefeated challenger thread Again I was just checking. Carry on discussing Floyd Mayweather's favorite breakfast cereal!
If we were to depend on the homepage for "news" then Martinez still has not faced Williams for the second time, and Joey Spina just stopped Echols in 3!!!!
Cage fighting over watching Gamboa to his thing? Please. Nevermind, have my dates messed up. Gamboa is next weekend.
It's not so much Gamboa, tomorrow. Bute will be fighting though, along with the streams and Gonzalez-Vargas.
Jon Jones-Shogun is definitely the most compelling fight this weekend. I have the Klit fight set to record. I could care less about seeing Bute fight Brian Magee.
Either way, MMA has it's forum and Boxing has it's forum...and Bute-Magee can be discussed in this forum, and Jones-Shogun can be discussed in the other one.
I love boxing, but is there really any suspense in the Bute fight? The Klit fight could turn out to be good which is why I've set it to record. I actually won't be watching anything live tomorrow night. I won't be paying $50 for the UFC event. I used to try and catch them at Buffalo Wild Wings, but you have to get there at like 7PM and table squat in order to watch it there now.
If Arreola was fighting Solis, and the WBC Heavyweight Title was on the line, then you can best believe that there would be a great deal more "excitement", and that a major West-Coast arena would have been sold out for the event. Solis is a dangerous fast guy, who deserves credit for taking his chance and not resting on his laurels. Will he win? Who knows. He is managed by Ahment Oner, so a win for Solis means you can forget about the WBC title going back Stateside anytime soon.
UFC is for white steroid freaks who cannot fight, and are only there to make up the numbers so guys like Spiderman Silva can look good. In other news: http://www.fightnews.com/Boxing/klitschko-249-5-solis-246-9-78836 Klitschko : 249.5lbs Solis: 246.9lbs Basically thats 250lbs vs 247lbs That means Solis is probably too heavy. I wonder if he thinks the Danny Williams method of coming in with extra armour will help, but Williams was a good 3" taller than Solis. First 4 rounds of this should be good, but after that, with all other things being equal, Vitali takes over.
I thought he's been in the 260s for the past couple of years? 247 means this should probably be a pretty good fight.
That was in a different thread. I'm good but I ain't that fucking good. :: Seriously, the fact that he is the lightest he has been in years does not mean he is light, per se. I still think he is too heavy for the long haul but not so heavy that he cannot go to work early.
