Jones. Ward is probably too good to be white washed by ANYBODY, even a prime Roy, but Roy would beat him VERY clearly.

Roy would be countering Ward with the type of speed and power Ward has never seen before. If Andre forced the issue, and attempted to fight aggressively he'd end up getting hurt as Roy's firepower would prove too great from him.

From the outside, Ward would be totally ineffective as Roy's advantage in speed is just too wide from him there.

Roy was still somehwhat green in 93, and had an injured hand.

But yes, stylewise it'd likely be a dull, tactical fight which Roy wins. The question is, does Ward have the chin to take the shots Hopkins took?

I don't think it would be close at all. I don't think Ward is as good as the Hopkins that Roy beat, or Toney for that matter.

Ward is crafty, solid, and an excellent fighter - but I don't think he has the talent to compete with Roy. Neither his speed or power are anything special at world level. Roy has fought 2 fighters that were more skilled, dirty and crafty than him, and one of them only managed to win a round.

I don't blame Hut though, he just hates Roy :kidcool:
