    nice post. reads almost like a best movies list; for me, the screenplay - i.e. plot and dialogue - is about 90% of everything that movies are about. the remaining 10% is direction and acting.

    I think Some Like It Hot works so well mainly because of the actors, the screenplay is not that great or original (although good)

    I liked the original a lot better than the overlong Redux.
