Curious to know what your opinion is regarding boxing dads training their son(s) in boxing. We've seen many great fighters doing well in their careers with the help of their father as their main coach. Statistically speaking is it always a good combination for a successful career or does it potentially create drama/tension/interference in training camps if things go south?

Honestly it's a beautiful thing. My respect to any father that's involved in their kids life. The problem is that there are levels and I feel that those type of trainers(Father's) can only take you so far. There are exceptions like Mayweather. But if we look back I bet we'll find that it becomes more of a hindrance than a benefit.

    They're historically a terrible idea.

It's an interesting point and I was wondering what the actual success rate was for father/son duos. 'Success' is obviously subjective, of course.
