    It proved Brock has heart
It proved Carwin has no stamina

    What else?

I don't think Brock beat Carwin ,he just outlasted him and he didn't look impressive doing it...But back to the subject.Yeah what you said pretty much sums it up.

I think it also proves or at least make you question a couple of other things:

    1) Brock doesn't react well when hit.
    2) Brock is learning as he goes along and isn't content with using his size and wrestling to win fights.
    3) Carwin is an absolute beast for 4:30 seconds.

Carwin has always been a destructive force in the 1st round.

That's kind of his style, a lot like Tyson in that regard.

Agreed, but until the Lesnar fight we didn't know that he went from being a destructive force in the 1st to a daisy in the 2nd.

Big Nog damn near made his career out of doing that. Do you not count those too?

That was my point initially after the fight. Brock looked like Nog in there. Nog spent his whole career fighting the way Brock did against Carwin.

I'm just saying, he's not the only one to ever catch a whooping and make a come back. Outlasting a guy is one of many ways to win a fight.

    1. Brock is very vulnerable on his feet.

    2. Carwin has NO gas tank.

    3. Brock is tough as nails.

    4. Brock panics like Wlad wen he gets tagged.

    5. Carwin is not a good finisher. Needs to learn to pick his shots.

    6. Carwin is overrated.

That's because he fights to stop people in the 1st round. And hes obviously pretty damn good at it.

It's a 3 round fight, so its a much more viable strategy in MMA.
