As val pointed out in another thread - he's had a sharp decline. Was it the first loss to silva that did it? He just couldn't handle that and permanently folded as a fighter or what? It seems since then he's just gone through the motions and has been kinda gunshy.
Well, he damn near beat Silva in the 2nd fight so I would say it was the 2nd fight that pretty much ruined him. He hasn't looked the same since.
I disagree, he hurt silva sure, but ended up getting his ass kicked just as badly. Also, I do think apart from that one moment of success - he looked a little gunshy even in that fight.
..... The bell saved Silva I thought. Regardless, jackson got knocked the fuck out pretty brutally. Neither of those fights helped his longetivity :jester:
