McCline probably would've used his height, and his faster than average hands to win a decision. But honestly, something needs to be done about guys like McCline who do nothing but hold when his opponent gets close. It simply isn't legal. And yet, time after time, McCline is allowed to carry on with his grappling. It's as if they're enabling guys with no skills (or courage) to continue to win and plague the sport (e.g. Ruiz, McCline).
Byrd beat McCline pretty clear. I don't see why Toney couldn't have come somewhat close to repeating that.
Jameel McCline might have won if James Toney was magically turned into Michael Grant. Otherwise he'd find a way to lose.
If a fight end in a draw, but one guy tests positive do they change the official result? What about if both guys test positive? :dunno:
The only time the result isn't changed to a no-decision is if the guy who won tested clean. Or if Roy Jones is fighting in a state with a weak boxing commission.
