:jester:Arlovski's got the weakest chin in the history of combat sports. Every loss he's ever suffered, even in his young days when he fought Joe Schmo-type fighters, he would be winning the fight and then get KTFO on his ass unconscious from 1 punch to the chin. It's happened to him in every loss, from the early days to Rizzo to Sylvia, etc. Dude would make Michael Grant's chin look like steel. Arlovski throws a decent punch but he can't take sh*t, he'd be a fragile chinless wimp in pro boxing. So would that other joker Tim 'The Yeti' Sylvia. Only guy I can think of is Vitor Belfort who's actually in his pro boxing career right now but hasn't even fought a top 1000 boxer yet, although he does have some skills and power(at least against club level competition).
For an MMA fighter, he's somewhat talented in his stand up. In pro boxing, he's zilch. It's different trying to stand up against world class boxers than it is against wrestlers who aren't stand up strikers. Kinda like Ortiz and Hughes, 2 wrestlers who can't do sh*t on their feet which is why they got KTFO when they tried to trade with fighters who have a decent striking game(Liddell and GSP). What do you think?
Did you notice the major difference between Tim Sylvia's physique from his steroid days to now? When he fought Cabbage in late 2002(while on roids), he looked pretty ripped and muscular. After getting busted for steroid use, he now looks like a flabby joke. Check out the fights. Huge difference.
I didn't say he would be a world champion, I didn't even say he would be successful, I just threw his name out there, because he is a good striker in MMA.
