This is a real issue Hex one!

10oz gloves ruined Saturday's fight. How can you expect fighter's to make a great fight with pillows on their fist? :nono:

They always wore 10oz at 154 anyway.

    But it should change.

How can you expect people to knock other people out with 10oz pillows on their fist? :dunno:

are you going to give me a little more credit one of these days and realize that my concern over gloves does not extend to any and all fights, and that i've only ever raised the issue in the context of light-weight and junior welter-weight fights held in vegas, where up until recently 8 oz gloves were used, whereas they've now changed to using 10 oz ones? and where you'd have to be a complete idiot to deny that 10 oz versus 8 oz has had an impact on the ability of fighters to hurt their opponents? and that pretending it's a non-issue, by mocking my concern over it, even as fighters and managers themselves make an issue of it, reflects poorly on you and your critical thinking abilities?

PBF might have dropped DLH in the 5th round instead of buckling him with those right hand counters off the ropes. I'll Holla 5000

He did fight him. Last time I checked he landed 202 punches. Which ain't bad for a cat that ran the whole fight and was too afraid to let his hands go. Especially when his opponent only landed 138 punches. I'll Holla 5000

he didn't fight him. He outboxed him. You can outbox somebody and still outland him which is what he did. Oscar just missed the majority of his punches which is why the punch stat was so off.

I think Floyd performed the way he had to if he wanted to win the fight. But considering the stage and how much he wanted this big even for years he never took a risk. especially considering how much faster he was than Oscar.

People think taking a risk means fighting recklessly. It doesn't! It just means take a fucking chance! Don't lean on the ropes, make the guy miss, throw a punch and get out of the way.

for all the shit Floyd talked comparing himself to past greats he didn't take advantage against an older Oscar.

Shane's win over OScar was more impressive 7 years ago.
