In terms of aggregation of skill Mayweather Snr/Jnr Chavez Snr/Jnr Spinks Snr/Jnr Frazier Snr/Jnr Hearns Snr/Jnr I've probably forgotten many notable father/son combinations, so please educate me on which one you think is the best in history.
The Mayweathers take this one easily imo. Aside from Junior's obvious ability, Floyd Sr gave a pretty good account of himself against SRL, which iirc was before he got shot in the leg. I've read and heard that before Sr got shot, nobody in the gym was a match for him.
Chavez Sr/Jr....Sr. makes up his son lack of skills/accomplishments/etc.. Mayweather Sr/Jr...JR makes up for his father below average career... If Cory Spinks father had been Michael instead of Leon..then they would have won it easily...
Was going to mention them as well. Part of the equation should have to be that both sides were/are accomplished, and both of them were. I mean, Tommy Hearns and a pet rock would be just as productive in career achievements as Hearns and his son.
Kind of breaks the rules since he's not his biological son, but: Floyd and Tracy Patterson Also, Sly for what it's worth, Cory Spinks isn't a Jr ::.
Sadly out of all potential attributes Ronald could have inherited chin is the only one he received. I wonder if Tommy has another son with short arms.
