Knowing Floyd Mayweather is an asshole in public and embraces the role of the villain. He spends money ridiculously, has a foul mouth, is disrespectful, arrogant, has illegitimate children and is a malcontent. He's also a great boxer, no doubt. But he has it all out there for us all to see. Manny Pacquiao had this projected humble personality; he's for his people; he's happy go lucky, etc..... However, now that this religion thing has become a topic, we found out he's just as immoral as Mayweather, maybe even more. He drinks, he smokes, he gambles and cohorts with women, not named JINKEE (Of course Manny has not kicked Jinkee's ass -- That we know of). Are we just conditioned not to like Floyd because of his arrogance/ignorance, success and race or are we going to be equally critical of each guy now that we have most of the facts about them?
Floyd beats women, that's considerably worse than sleeping with another woman. Why on earth are you listing gambling, smoking and drinking? Are you a monk? That's normal behaviour, there's nothing immoral about it. Are you serious?
I was talking about from the projected humble man stand point. And, from his base catholic practices that most Filipinos follow even when they're lax about religion.

Yea things like gambling, smoking, drinking etc don't bother me as I do them all myself anyway, and I couldn't care less what athletes decide to do with their money or health. Floyd is also a well known gambler by the way.
:giggle: Not saying that you're wrong per se, but I found your innocence in this statement very amusing. Gambling, smoking and drinking is "normal" only in certain circles. To some people, buying selling and snorting Cocaine is "normal" behaviour too.
I guess :: However in the modern world, I would say gambling or smoking or drinking is significantly more common than either NONE of them, or of course the other extreme, doing Class A drugs regularly.

Smoking , drinking and gambling are certainly not normal. Smoking is always disgusting and so is most gambling. Drinking in moderation is ok.
