What do you guys think? This is the opening seconds of the Manny Gamburyan\Jeff Cox fight last week. They're going for the customary, but not mandatory, touching of gloves, when Gamburyan decides to throw a kick. TFK
cowardly move imo, reminds me of that angel hernandez KO (think that was the one on FNF when the guy came out to touch gloves and the dude KHTFO) i thought that gamburyan guy was a POS when he was on the show i laughed hard when on the finale that diaz kid ripped manny for being in Karo Parisyans shadow ::
REED Won't Get Into Whether it was "Right" or "Wrong", but it DEFINITELY SHOWS what Gamburyan Thinks of "Sportsmanship".... REED:: ps. Protect YOURSELF @ All Times...
I think it was a bitch move, without a doubt. If you do something stupid like gatti did mid fight, look at the ref etc, you deserve to get clocked, 100%. But at the start of the fight? Like TFK says it's customary. If he just threw a kick right away then fair enough, but he PRETENDED to touch gloves, then threw a kick. That's an outright bitch move.
Manny and his cousin Karo are a couple of bitches. I was happy to see Karo get his ass KO'd. That was definitely a bitch move by Manny.
Like Z i don't like Manny or Karo. I have to say this though it is a fight and i have no problem with what he did. As soon as the bell rings it is a fight and you are trying to beat down your opponent. In my mind you shouldn't stick your glove out to your opponent unless you have an agreement with your opponent that they will touch back, because if they want to they can blast you when you put your glove out.
manny stuck his hand out, its an unspoken agreement.....its poor sportsmanship and even moreso, cowardly
exactly, at least Angel Hernandez ( the guy who ktfo the guy who wanted to touch gloves ) didn't fake touching the other guy gloves, this is the worst of the worst.
Exactly too, RJ is acting like the guy went to touch gloves, and then manny just tried to kick him. That would be fair enough. This is MUCH worse, a fucking cowardly move, pretending to touch gloves then sneakily throwing a kick.
