Both are bad match ups for different reasons. Benitez has height and reach, and the gap in skill and ring IQ is simply too wide for Cotto to be able to implement what he does best. Cotto might see the final bell but he’d lose via very wide scores. Trinidad on the other hand, simply has too much fire power and stamina for Cotto, who tends to fade late.
