Which fighter who have had the best chance at beating a prime Roy?

    Agreed that Benn probably would've had the least chance. He had the potential to do damage if he landed, but his own chin was shaky and Roy was more likely to find his chin first before Benn found his.

    I think Liles and Nunn may have had the best potential to be his "spoilers", because of their height, range, and technical/counterpunching skill, plus Nunn's speed and Liles' big right hook. For the same reason, I think Henry Maske could've been a tough fight for Roy too.

    Roy vs. G-Man is a tough fight to figure. Roy's picked apart guys with the same fundamental style as G., and it's possible he could do the same to G. himself... but we don't know how he'd approach it when the guy can threaten his chin the way G-Man can.

    I agree, liles or nunn. southpaws with power.

    jones had problems and lost to liles before, I know tarver was looking at one of their fights in preparation.

    I wish Jirov were on this list. Let's not forget - at least part of RJJ's prime was spent at 175 where Jirov would've been a likely opponent.
